I want to again thank all of you leaving comments, and making this such an active discussion forum. As I've said before, it's your comments that keep people coming back...so THANK YOU!

And I wanted to share a quick lesson in some very simple html codes, which will allow you to post pictures and active links in your comments.

Pictures from anywhere on the web can be posted into your comment by using an "image source" html code. It looks like this:

Photobucket

Please give it a try! (but keep the pictures PG-13 or cleaner!)

:-)

A reader recently asked me how to post a photograph onto this blog. I think it would be fun for readers to do this, so I wanted to give you a general instruction set.

The easiest way to do it is to go to the site www.photobucket.com, and open a free account. This site will walk you through uploading photos from your computer, and will allow you to host 1000 photos at no cost whatsoever.

Once your photo is loaded in photobucket, you can click on a button that will give you the html code to cut-and-paste into a comment on this blog (or any blog). Then, when my page loads, the link to your photo will activate, and your photo will appear on my blog (even though it is hosted by photobucket).

Photobucket restricts content of the photos that can be uploaded, so as long as you are abiding by their rules I have no concerns.

You can comment to this posting if you have additional technical questions for me...I would be happy to advise you.
